Policies
No Drop Offs: A parent or responsible adult must stay for the duration of the lesson. If someone other than the parent is bringing the child to class a permission slip must be signed by parent or guardian before the 1st lesson. Please arrive no more than 5 to 10 minutes before the start of your lesson. Please have your child go to the restroom before they arrive (no restroom facilities are available). It's best not to have your child eat 1 hour before their lesson. Please call Jeanne 737-313-7296 1 hour before lesson time if you believe weather conditions will cancel lessons.
Refund Policy: If you can’t attend your reserved session a 75% refund will be given ONLY If you give Jeanne Murray a 14 day notice prior to the beginning day of class. If notification to Jeanne Murray is less than 14 days there is NO REFUND.
Payment Policy: Payment is required to confirm your reservation. You may mail your check to Jeanne Murray, 6225 Harrogate Drive, Austin, TX, 78759. Please write on your check the child’s name , age, session requested. However we can not register or hold a spot for anyone without payment. No opening is guaranteed until FULL payment is processed.
Make – ups will be given ONLY for cancellation due to bad weather, pool malfunction, or instructor illness. I can not accommodate any schedule changes after dates have been agreed upon. No exceptions.
Make-ups will be held with the swimmer’s own class. Only one make-up class per session due to bad weather is allowed. No make-up lesson or refund is provided for swimmer absence because we held a place for you. Make up lessons due to weather, pool malfunction, or instructor illness will always be held on the next Thursday after the missed lesson at the same time. No Make up classes when your child is ILL.
Parents are reminded to respect each others' privacy . The policies of Arbor Swim Club include No Photos or Videos of the Students are allowed.
Private lessons
TO REGISTER: Go to forms page to download registration form. Only a completed form including specific dates with your attached check for full amount payable to Jeanne Murray will confirm your registration. Please call first to confirm availability of your desired dates and times.
Hygienic Policy
PLEASE DO NOT FEED YOUR CHILD BEFORE THEIR SWIMMING LESSON.
Philosophy
Jeanne believes all students learn best when they are confident in their learning. Small prizes or Stickers are given to encourage the children to strive to do their best. Children thrive in small group lessons where they feel safe with a very experienced instructor. One success builds on the next, and Jeanne provides a fun, safe, motivational, and caring environment.
Jeanne believes adult swim students initially learn best in private lessons without distractions. Jeanne's 40 foot lap pool is shallow (3' 6" to 4' 11" deep)
